UVB LED Lamp

UVB (ultraviolet-B) LEDs (light emitting diodes) have been in the marketplace (available for sale to anyone) since 2020. I make this lamp around a single UVB LED.

The lamp has a pushbutton On/Off button (left end) and an indicator light (near the right end) that is lit when the lamp is on.

The lamp is about 12 inches long. Inside the carbon fiber lamp barrel are 4 AA batteries that power the lamp. The end of the lamp is a rubber O-ring (to make the lamp smooth to the touch). Inside the end is a copper insert (to focus the UVB light straight to where the lamp is pointed). In the center of the end of the lamp is the LED, the heart of the lamp.
